NHPS School Climate Survey

The New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) Climate Survey is designed to assess and enhance the culture and environment across our schools, providing valuable insights to guide, teachers, staff, administrators, students, and families. This survey process involves careful design, implementation, data analysis, and reporting to support the NHPS community in understanding and improving school climate. Selected vendors are responsible for meeting detailed specifications in survey design, customer support, and professional development. Additionally, they are expected to provide workshops and resources related to survey creation, result reporting, and data interpretation, ensuring that the findings effectively inform school climate initiatives.

The NHPS Climate survey is meant to provide a research-based, validated, and developmentally appropriate means for students, school employees, families of students, to measure and identify areas of strength and areas of growth in their school community. The survey must be provided in the predominant languages of the members of the school community, ensuring an equal opportunity for completion across all NHPS stakeholders.
