Summary

Contractor will provide ongoing software maintenance and support for the Fleet Online Registration System (FORT)
which registers property tax for vehicles on a continuing basis for fiscal year starting FY October 1, 2026 to
September 30, 2027. During the 2019 Alabama legislative session Act 2019-129 was passed.
A portion of this act mandates that the Alabama Department of Revenue (ADOR) provide a web-based, on-line fleet
registration and tax system to allow a fleet owner to register fleet vehicles. This system will have the capability to appraise,
assess, and collect ad valorem tax, as well as collect license taxes and registration fees associated with the issuance of a
license plate.  This on-line system is known as the Fleet Online Registration and Tax (FORT) System.
