REPAIR AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION FOR POND NO. 3 DAM

The repair work includes filling the voids in the existing rubble masonry spillway abutments with urethane grouting and repointing the deteriorated mortar joints. The replacement work of the bridge includes demolition of the existing bridge, demolition of part of the abutments, preparing a concrete surface over the existing abutment, construction of a new precast plank bridge, roadway pavement and addition of new timber guide and bicycle rails. The work will also include the removal of any existing railing system (concrete posts, pipe rails and stones) located within the project area as indicated on the plans.
