Description
The objective of this RFP is to select a qualified vendor to provide MacEwan University with comprehensive door repair services, ensuring operational safety and functionality across university-owned properties. The scope for these services includes, but is not limited to the following:
• Door types including interior/ exterior doors (metal, glass), automatic sliding/ rotating doors, electromechanical doors, security doors, manual (hinged) doors
• Repairs and maintenance services including but not limited to:
o Repairing or replacing various electromechanical door components including but not limited to sensors, automatic controls, motion detectors, and emergency stop features
o Servicing door tracks, rollers, hinges, seals to ensure smooth operation
o Lubrication of moving parts (tracks, rollers, hinges)
• Consulting services on code compliance
o Ensure compliance with local building codes
o Verify fire-rated doors meet UL standards
