Please note this request for quotations is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina will launch the request for quotation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The due date and time for submission of quotes will be provided in the RFQ once when posted on SAM.gov.
The Embassy has a requirement for a firm to provide construction services (pre-construction activities, procuring equipment, demolition and removal of the old equipment, installation of New HVAC Components, testing and commissioning) on an existing office building in the American Embassy Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This construction effort is estimated at USD25,000.00 – USD100,000.00 and needs to be completed by 45 (forty-five) calendar days after receiving a Notice to Proceed.
The work includes the replacement of existing HVAC system components with new, upgraded equipment in two specific areas:
Utility Building (UTL):
Loading Dock Room (Service Controlled Access Compound (SCAC) Building):
All work must adhere to the existing design specifications, including equipment sizing, placement, and integration with current building systems. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compatibility with electrical and mechanical systems, conducting necessary testing, and providing documentation of compliance with local building codes and standards.
All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:
This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to FAR 4.1102 and other applicable regulations and guidelines. Information can be found at www.sam.gov. Registration must be "ACTIVE" at the time of award.

To be considered for award, all vendors submitting quotes for this requirement must self-certify conformance in their SAM.gov representations as required in FAR 52.204-24, FAR 52.204-25 and FAR 52.204-26 in accordance with FAR Interim Rule 2019-009. Vendors that fail to complete this self-certification or present with a record that does not reflect conformance at FAR 52.204-26 and FAR 52.212-3 (v) within SAM.gov will not be considered for award.
