Due Date: 4/2/2026
The Storm Drainage System Replacement and Rehabilitation Project (SD-25000) has 2 project locations. Based on the history of flooding in the area, this project proposes to upsize of the existing 12-inch line to 36-inch pipe for additional storage capacity. The first location on Alester proposes to upsize 283 linear feet of 12-inch reinforced concrete (RCP) pipe to 36-inch high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe on Alester Avenue. The catch basins, laterals, and ADA ramps will need to be replaced as a result of this upsizing. One of the main challenges is the location since the project is located next to the elementary school, the Contractor would have to adhere to the bell schedules if work is scheduled for the school year or work can done during summer when school is not in session. The second location on Lambert and Birch proposes to replace the catch basin and laterals, and install a new manhole structure in the street.
