Office for People with Developmental Disabilities Staten Island DDSO CMM Kitchens and Bathrooms Renovation and Associated Asbestos Abatement

DASNY is soliciting bids for Staten Island DDSO - CMM Kitchens and Bathrooms Renovation and Associated Asbestos Abatement. The scope work includes, but is not limited to the following:

Hostel #7198: Building 24, 1150 Forest Hill Road, Staten Island, NY

• Commercial kitchen interior renovation, including epoxy flooring, stainless steel appliances, electrical outlet relocation as required for proposed layout, quartz countertops with backsplash, solid wood kitchen cabinetry, lighting, and plumbing as required.
• Replacement of existing 2 compartment sink and drying rack, including a commercial pull down faucet.
• Replacement of existing residential suppression system with a commercial fire suppression system for a gas range with fire alarm tie in as required.

Hostel #8686: 1048 South Railroad Avenue, Staten Island, NY

• Hazardous materials abatement for all walls and ceilings in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Interior renovation of first and second floor bathroom (2 total), including gypsum wall board, walk-in shower, cabinetry, porcelain tile flooring or epoxy flooring with new subfloor, tile walls, stainless steel ANSI/ADA grab bars, lighting, bathroom accessories and plumbing piping as required.
• Design of exhaust fans for each bathroom and kitchen range exhaust system (through-wall).
• Interior renovation of first and second floor residential kitchen (2 total), including VCT plank flooring with new subfloors, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops with backsplash, gypsum wall board, solid wood kitchen cabinetry, lighting, and plumbing as required.

Hostel #9066: 62 Justin Avenue, Staten Island, NY

• Hazardous materials abatement for all walls and ceilings in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Interior renovation of first and second floor bathroom (2 total), including gypsum wall board, walk-in shower, cabinetry, porcelain tile flooring or epoxy flooring with new subfloor, tile walls, stainless steel ANSI/ADA grab bars, lighting, bathroom accessories and plumbing piping as required.
• Design of exhaust fans for each bathroom and kitchen range exhaust system (through-wall).
• Interior renovation of first and second floor residential kitchen (2 total), including VCT plank flooring with new subfloors, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops with backsplash, gypsum wall board, solid wood kitchen cabinetry, lighting, and plumbing as required.

Estimated Cost Range: $1,275,000 to 1,850,000.

The bidder or its principals shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in similar work and shall provide to the Owner on the Minimum Qualifications Form a list of five (5) contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity to this Project completed or substantially completed within the last ten (10) years. Projects with complex technical specification sections may require additional experience in terms of both time as well as number of similarly completed projects.
