Summary

The work under this project involves the installation of wick drains and preload ahead of upcoming floodwall construction along Water Street for Norfolk CSRM Ph1A.

Background

Contractors are subject to comply to Federal Requirements for Projects Cost-Shared with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (where applicable), and Virginia Wage Determination as found in Appendix A and B of attached Complete Bid Package.

All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted no later than Monday, October 19, 2026 4:00 pm through the Questions portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/norfolk/projects/303577 . Any RFI submitted after this date cannot be guaranteed a response by the City.
