Request for Proposal
Municipal District of Opportunity No. 17
MD of Opportunity No. 17 seeks qualified sign fabricators and installers for ~51 branded signs across four northern Alberta communities (Calling Lake, Red Earth Creek, Sandy Lake, Wabasca). Monument signs, building-mounted Crezon, park signage, and premium golf course sign. Contractor responsible for fabrication, installation, permits, inspections, and code compliance.
This Request for Proposals ("RFP") invites qualified sign fabricators and installation contractors to submit proposals for the supply and installation of the Phase 1 signage package, as designed by Unfussy (design firm) and documented in the MD of Opportunity Signage System, Version 6, March
2026. The signage system reflects the MD's brand identity and incorporates design elements that honour the cultural character of the communities it serves. Proponents are expected to be capable of fabricating and installing all sign types included in the scope, or to demonstrate a clear subcontracting plan for any elements outside their direct capability.
