ANNUAL ASIA PACIFIC METROLOGY PROGRAM (APMP) ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHP FEE

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source with Asia Pacific Metrology Program (APMP) for NIST’s annual Associate level membership.

This is a sole source requirement as APMP is the exclusive resource maintaining the available research content and the member publications and newsletters, collecting the annual fee, and administering benefits to member organizations which include facilitating General Assembly meetings, coordinating technical committee/focus group initiatives, and managing a joint proficiency testing program.

A firm fixed-price Purchase Order will be issued on or about 30 Dec 2024 for a 1- year period and a 1- year option period. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The government will consider responses received by 5:00PM, EST, 4 Dec 2024. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition. No telephone requests will be honored.
