For the Project Titled
MILLENNIUM PARK PICKLEBALL COURTS

Sealed proposals will be received from qualified contractors by the Boyle County Fiscal Court at 321 West
Main Street Danville, Kentucky 40422 until 10:00 AM local time, April 27th, 2026, for the construction of
the new pickleball courts and associated site context located at Millennium Park, 1000 Cunningham Dr,
Danville, KY 40422. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted and will be returned unopened to
the bidder. The project includes acceptance of all existing site conditions (which are to be inspected by all
bidders prior to bidding) and all other general construction and electrical work specified in the Contract
Documents dated April 2nd, 2026. Liquidated damages will be assessed per the specifications. Refer to
Supplemental Instructions to Bidders and construction documents for additional information. Direct
Purchase of materials through Owner will be provided as a Contractor’s option. Refer to Supplemental
Instructions to Bidders and construction documents for additional information.
The Project consists of the construction of (9) or (12) new pickleball courts with surrounding walkways and
connection to existing parking lots or construction of a new parking lot. All walkways will be concrete.
Pickleball courts will be finished with asphalt and have painted surfaces and court lines per construction
documents. (6) of the pickleball courts will be lit with pole lighting and electrical lines will be run to the other
(6) courts for future use.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all contractors will be held on April 20th, 2026 at 2:00 PM local
time, at Millennium Park, 1000 Cunningham Dr, Danville, KY 40422. The Instructions to Bidders, Form
of Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment
Bond and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

Plans and Specifications may be purchased from Lynn Imaging, 328 Old Vine St., Lexington, KY for a
non-refundable amount as determined by Lynn Imaging, with electronic PDF copies also being made
available. No partial sets will be issued. Documents may be obtained from the distribution department of
Lynn Imaging, 859.255.1021 or on their website, www.lynnimaging.com. If documents are to be mailed, an
additional non-refundable charge per set may be required. The successful bidder is responsible for all
additional sets they may require.
After the scheduled closing time for receiving the bids, all proposals that have been completely filled out
and have been properly submitted with the appropriate attachments in accordance with the Contract
Documents will be opened and read publicly by Boyle County Judge Executive Trille L. Bottom at
10:30 AM in the Boyle County Courthouse Fiscal Court Room – Room 106.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Owner in an amount of not less
than 5% of the bid. The award of the contract shall be made on the basis of the lowest and best bid in the
interest of the Boyle County Government. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty
(60) days after the date set for the bid opening.
The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and shall have the right to reject any
and all bids. The successful bidder shall provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond.

days prior to the established bid date.
