Project Description
The Quinault Public Works Division is hosting an all-staff division meeting in Taholah on
Thursday, May 21, 2026. We are soliciting bids for a contractor to cook lunch for up to 60
people and break down and clean up the venue at the Taholah Community Center. Lunch
will need to be served by 12:00 PM. Menu is cook’s choice with a Mexican-food plate of
choice. Lunch must include a main Course, corresponding sides (examples include Rice
& Refried Beans & Fixings such as guacamole/avocado, salsa, cilantro, onions, and sour
cream, etc.)
Scope of Work
Meet Community Center Superintendent for pre and post walk through
Shop for food and grocery supplies (we will provide plates/bowls, utensils and napkins),
A P.O. for Swansons will be provided in advance for up to $800.
Prep, Cook and serve lunch for 60 people. Menu is cooks choice: Mexican Food Plate of
Choice. Must include Main Course, Sides (example, Rice & Refried Beans & Fixings (if
needed for main course): cheese/cotija, Guacamole/avocado, salsa, cilantro, onions, and
sour cream.
Set up of dining hall area (tables and chairs)
Clean up of kitchen and dining hall after event in accordance with rental check off list
(put tables and chairs away, sweeping, mopping, restrooms, and remove all trash.)
Qualifications:
Food Handlers Permit
QIN Business License
W9
Must have cooked for large gatherings at least twice
Submission of Bids:
Description of qualifications, including your cooking experience for large gatherings
Anticipated menu with costs, with a breakdown for food, supplies and labor
2 references (name and contact information)
Indian Contractor Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian contractors. Please specify in the proposal if the bidders are
Quinault with enrollment number, Supporting Quinault, other Indian or Non-Tribal.
