Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive quotes from qualified contractors for the Purchase of a Striping
Applicator for the Department of Transportation.
Quotes should be typed or submitted in ink and returned to the Attention of Michael Milstein, Purchasing Associate
III. Quotes should be received by 3:00 P.M. on August 28, 2026 by email to Michael.Milstein@GwinnettCounty.com

Quotes are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. The written Quote documents supersede any verbal
or written prior communications between the parties.
Successful awarded vendor will be required to meet insurance requirements. Insurance Company must be
authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's
Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as
acceptable reinsuring companies, and must have an A.M. Best rating of A-7 or higher.

SPECIFICATIONS
I. GENERAL INFORMATION
The Gwinnett County Department of Transportation is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors for a striping
applicator. The Traffic Operations Division routinely installs and replaces raised pavement markers
throughout Gwinnett County as part of roadway maintenance, resurfacing projects, and safety
improvements. This equipment will become a standard tool used by the Longline Striping Crew and will
support ongoing maintenance operations.
The awarded vendor is expected to provide this machine as quickly as possible.
II. SPECIFICATIONS & SCOPE OF WORK
1. Scope of Work:
The successful vendor shall furnish and deliver one (1) new Raised Pavement Marker (RPM)
Applicator meeting or exceeding the minimum specifications listed herein. Delivery shall include all
standard equipment, operating manuals, and accessories necessary for immediate operation. Vendor
shall provide warranty documentation and any applicable operator training materials upon delivery.
2. Specifications:
Minimum Requirements:
* New equipment only
* Walk-behind or self-propelled RPM applicator designed for roadway use
* Designed to install raised pavement markers using two-part epoxy
* Adjustable marker placement
* Heavy-duty steel frame construction
* Corrosion-resistant finish
* Integrated epoxy dispensing system
* Compatible with standard two-part epoxy cartridges or pressure-fed system
* Adjustable epoxy output
* Marker holding mechanism capable of securely positioning RPMs during installation
* Ergonomic operator controls
* Easy-to-clean dispensing components
* Replaceable wear parts
* Pneumatic or solid tires suitable for roadway operations
* Stable platform for accurate placement
* Capable of continuous production during roadway installation operations
The County will also require a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials
and workmanship.
