Synopsis:
|
|
On January 3, 2025 a fire severely damaged the property at 12 Patrick Street, Springside, SK. The Town of Springside is seeking tenders for the clean-up and removal of fire damaged debris as well as removal of the trees at 12 Patrick Street as detailed in the scope of work.

Scope of Work:
Supply and maintain any required barricades or fencing.
Advise the Town Office if blocking any street, lane or sidewalk is required.
Demolish any standing debris so that it can be hauled away from the site.
Haul waste and debris from the site.
Potential for asbestos, mold or lead paint – safe removal of which is at the bidders expense.
Remove the concrete foundation and basement from the site, fill the excavated area with clean earth, pack and level the site.
The hauling of waste and debris is to be part of the tender and must be hauled to a certified landfill, the closest certified landfill is 26 km away.
Trees on the rear of the property are to be removed; all organic debris can be hauled to the Springside Landfill.
The successful bidder must:
Obtain and pay for a business license within the Town of Springside.
Provide a Certificate of Insurance evidencing that Commercial General Liability Insurance is in place.
Provide a Letter of Good Standing from the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board to the Town.
Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act in relation to performance of the contract.
Tenders should include the following information:
Bidders name, address, contact information.
Proposed approach and deliverables – outline how you will meet each requirement of the scope of work.
Total cost of the bid, including a breakdown on labour, equipment and subcontracting.
It is preferred that tenders are in a sealed envelope and marked “Clean-up of 12 Patrick St”.
