Sealed bids will be received by the City of Broadview Heights (“Owner”), at The Office of the Mayor, Broadview Heights City Hall, 9543 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, Ohio 44147 until the 18th day of March 2026 until 12:00 pm current local time and will be publicly opened immediately after for the:

City of Broadview Heights, 2026 Roadway Striping Program

The work covered by the specifications includes furnishing all labor, equipment and the noted material for pavement markings including all appurtenances. These improvements must attain Final Completion by July 3rd, 2026. All bidders and subcontractors must be ODOT prequalified in the categories required for the type of work they are to perform.

The engineers’ estimates for the proposed improvements:

Base Bid Estimate: $75,000.00

All bids will be publicly opened and read immediately.  Each bid must contain the full names of the party or parties making the same, with an affidavit as to interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, in favor of the City of Broadview Heights or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of 10% of the Bid, payable to the City of Broadview Heights.

It is agreed that the bid guaranty shall be for the benefit of the City of Broadview Heights pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code if the undersigned fails to execute the Contract in conformity with the Form of Contract incorporated in the contract documents and furnish Bond and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the Contract to the undersigned.

Copies of the Contract Documents are on file and may be obtained at the Engineer’s office upon payment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00), none of which will be refunded.  Checks shall be made payable to the City of Broadview Heights. The contract document book shall be executed by the contractor with the required bid information and returned in its original condition. Documents shall not be removed from the bid book. The bid book shall be submitted in its original binding. The City will not accept any bids or information not submitted in the bid book provided by the City. Bids will not be accepted from any contractors that are not listed on the plan holder list. Bid books provided by third parties or outside sources will not be accepted.

The City of Broadview Heights reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
