Project Description: The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is hereby requesting qualified contractors to submit competitive bids to complete improvements at the Pinewalk Transfer Station.
The Transfer Station is located in the Town of Palm Beach at Pine Walk, on the premises of the Ocean Course at the Breakers. It is accessible from Cocoanut Row or Jimmy Buffett Highway. The project involves the restoration, repair, and replacement of deteriorated and damaged steel, hardware, concrete components, pavement surfaces, and trench pavement surface repairs. Additionally, it includes the replacement of ramp access guide rails at the existing transfer facility ramp. A leachate drain will be installed and connected to the brick manhole. Maintenance coating will be applied where specified in the plans, and erosion controls on the ramp will be replaced.
Engineer's Opinion of Cost is: $206,290.

SUBMISSION:

A "NON-MANDATORY" Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on virtually via the Microsoft Teams meeting platform.

Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from Project Manager and Town staff.
AWARD:
Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid.
The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal.
The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis or on a line-by-line basis.
Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION:
Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
