Notice of Intent - Modification to Add FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services

Synopsis:

This is a notice of a proposed contract action. The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) PS64, 6910 Cooper Avenue, Ft. Meade, Maryland 20755-7087, intends to issue a modification to contract number HC104724C0003 to add FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This modification will be completed using the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Contract number HC104724C0003 was awarded on 31 May 2024 to continue services until a protest is resolved on the re-compete effort of predecessor contract number N0018924PZ020 which expired on 31 May 2024. The Requiring Activity is the National Defense University (NDU), Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C. 20319.

Description of Services:

The modification will extend the administration of commercial cloud services in accordance with the Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide. Services to be extended include transition to and operation in the commercial cloud environment, as well as engineering support to analyze cloud requirements and develop/implement recommended solutions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 518210 (Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services). The Product Service Code is DG01 – IT and Telecom – Network Support Services.
