At that time, representatives of the City of Burnsville will open the bids publicly and post the results.
Pre-Bid Meeting Info: A mandatory pre-bid conference call , will be held at 10:00 AM CST on April 3, 2025 to discuss the scope of the project with the Owner’s representatives, Engineer, and prospective bidders. An on-site visit can be arranged for bidders by contacting the Project Engineer at the number listed on the Title Page. Attendance by prospective bidders or their designated representatives at the pre-bid conference is a pre-requisite to bidding the project.

    Description: Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the work will be discussed during a mandatory pre-bid conference call.

    A mandatory pre-bid conference call , will be held at 10:00 AM CST on April 3, 2025 to discuss the scope of the project with the Owner’s representatives, Engineer, and prospective bidders. An on-site visit can be arranged for bidders by contacting the Project Engineer at the number listed on the Title Page. Attendance by prospective bidders or their designated representatives at the pre-bid conference is a pre-requisite to bidding the project.

Bidders can download the Contract Documents for $42 by searching for the project on the QuestCDN website’s Project Search page or selecting the Engineering/Public Work Bid link and then the project on the Burnsville website. Bidders can also view the Contract Documents at either website free of charge.

    For this project we will accept only online electronic bids through QuestCDN. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety 2000 using project # 9602583. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond.

    The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.

    The Council will consider such bids in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
