The Government has nonpersonal services requirement for Molecular Testing for Viral Infectious Diseases in support of Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC), Fort Gordon, GA.
The contractor shall provide supplies to include, but not limited to, equipment, tools, materials, reagents, training, and other items and maintenance services necessary to provide Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
approved molecular based diagnostic system, to include, but not limited to the following testing panels and future panels that may become FDA approved during the duration of the contract: Enteric panel and extended enteric panel testing for common gastrointestinal bacterial pathogens, including the differentiation of Campylobacter strains (jejuni and coli), Salmonella spp, Shigella spp, Shiga Toxin-producing E. coli, Yersenia enterocolitica, Enterotoxigenic E. coli, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Vibrio spp; C. difficile specific diagnostic test; Group B strep screen; MRSA screen, vaginal panel, bacterial vaginosis, Candida spp, Trichomonas vaginalis. The analyzer will be located at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC). The productivity and efficiency will include the ability to batch at least 24 patient samples/run using 1 technician (~4,500 samples per year), ultra-high reliability, minimal specimen processing, integration of sample extraction, and detection. The system must include an integrated software system that performs all required calculations as needed for a final result and should be fully compatible with Military Health System – Genesis (MHS-G) or facility LIS.
