Electrical Testing Services

Pierce County (hereafter known as 'the County') is seeking proposals to secure the services of a licensed contractor to perform the necessary professional electrical testing, maintenance, and diagnostic services for Pierce County. This work will be performed at various County-owned locations. Other sites and/or divisions may be added throughout the life of the contract. We expect to receive a systematic, assured program to provide and guarantee proper inspections and testing of county-owned equipment and/or systems. All electrical testing professional services must be performed by an experienced and ANSI / NETA Certified Technician in accordance with the most current national Standards and Specifications and utilize the American/International Electrical Testing Association (ANSI/NETA MTS) Maintenance Testing Specifications.

The County will provide licensed electricians, as needed, to access any equipment for testing services.

The primary service locations (see addresses and locations in the County-owned Equipment List, Scope of Work section 3.2) are the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Sewer and Traffic Operations Center, the Environmental Services Building, outlaying Pump Stations, and other Pierce County locations as needed.

The County does not guarantee utilization through any resulting contract. The solicitation may provide estimates of utilization solely to help proposers prepare their proposal and does not serve as a guarantee of usage.
