High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy Unit with Treatment Planning System

Roswell Park is requesting bids for an HDR Brachytherapy unit and a paired Brachytherapy Treatment Planning System. We need an HDR unit that can accommodate our unique setup, allowing the control console and HDR unit to be easily moved to any OR vaults for treatment with minimal mobile parts. The proposed HDR unit should be capable of using existing applicator sets by providing suitable transfer tubes and, if possible, should be compatible with our existing treatment planning system.

Roswell Park will purchase one HDR unit and its associated control console. There are two vaults at the hospital: a regular HDR suite and a shielded operating room for IORT cases. The selected vendor will be responsible for implementing the hardware and software in both vaults, conducting acceptance testing, and training RPCCC personnel. The successful bidder will also provide maintenance and support services for the hardware and software, including 4 source exchanges per year.
