Albany Pine Bush Preserve mowing 102 acres

The Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission is seeking bids to mow 102 acres of scrub oak and other pine barrens vegetation as part of the Commission’s Wildlife Habitat Restoration Plan. This project requires a rubber track skid steer and fecon type mower head. Rotary type mowers are not acceptable.

All of these sites have been mowed at least once within the past 7 years except site #5 (south areas). These sites contain gently rolling slopes as well as some steeper dune slopes. A site visit is strongly encouraged as the vegetation and topography are quite variable throughout the sites.
