IFB 2948 - Audio and Visual Services

The purpose of this Solicitation is to retain one contractor to provide audio and visual services for a term of approximately six months, with an option to extend an additional six months, to the NYS Community Commission on Reparations Remedies (NYSCCRR) during public meetings and town halls.

The NYSCCRR is established to examine the institution of slavery in New York and the extent to which the federal, State, and local governments supported the institution of slavery; to
recommend appropriate remedies and reparations in consideration of the Commission’s findings; and to submit a written report of its findings and recommendation to the Governor.

The Contractor will be expected to participate in preplanning of events, including phone calls and virtual meetings. The Contractor is required to travel to and be on-site for each event.

The minimum qualifications to bid are:

A. The Bidder shall have at least three years of experience with providing audio and visual
services for public events, government hearings, or similar engagements.

or

The Bidder’s senior management personnel has been actively engaged cumulatively for
the Bidder and/or another firm in which they also served as senior personnel for at least
the past three years. Provided, however, in the case of the latter situation, the bidder must have been in business for at least six months.

B. The Bidder shall provide proof that they are able to service all regions of NYS, virtually
and in person.
