The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection ("MassDEP" or the "Department") seeks grant proposals from academic, governmental, quasi-governmental or non-profit entities for pre-design baseline condition assessment, design, construction monitoring, and/or post-construction monitoring related to ecological restoration projects in salt marshes, as defined in 310 CMR 10.32(2). Such projects may include work related to runnels, ditch remediation, marsh mounds, tidal restriction removal, and thin layer placement.
