STREETSCAPE ENHANCEMENTS
Description:
This project consists of streetscape enhancements along Main Street at the intersections with Avenue A,
Avenue B, and Avenue C. Enhancements include, but are not limited to, curb bump outs on both sides of
Main Street, upgraded ADA curb ramps, improved pedestrian signage, reduced pedestrian crossing
lengths, expanded pedestrian zones, new street-tree plantings, and site furnishings including bike racks
and benches. This project will also restore the street and sidewalk lighting at each intersection. Polemounted
light fixtures will be replaced with new LED globe fixtures, and new concrete planters will
receive rope light fixtures mounted along the planter perimeter.
