Notice of this Invitation for Bid is published in the Patriot Ledger, Central Register (which is a weekly publication of the Office of the Secretary of State), COMMBUYS, and posted on the Town’s procurement website at
https://braintreema.gov/Bids.aspx
. Bid deposits, performance bonds and payment bonds are required. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws apply to all services.
A site visit shall be held at Thayer Public Library 798 Washington Street, Braintree, MA on
October 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM, at which time the job site shall be made available for inspection.
Sealed bids for the Sub-bid Contract will be received at the Department of Public Works, 85 Quincy Ave., Braintree, Massachusetts 02184, until 1:00 PM. on November 6, 2024 after which time all bids will be opened and read aloud.
Sealed bids for the General Contract will be received at the Department of Public Works,
85 Quincy Ave., Braintree, Massachusetts 02184, until 1:00 PM on November 13, 2024
after which time all bids will be opened and read aloud.

The vendor shall include the cost of the bonds and permits in the bid. Bids that are not prepared as required will be considered non-responsive. E-Mail submissions will not be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of a Bidder to ensure its bid is received, regardless of the manner of delivery, by the deadline. It is strongly recommended that bids are mailed or delivered in advance of the due date and time. Late bids will not be accepted.
The Town of Braintree retains the right to waive any informality or reject all proposals or any portion thereof which such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Braintree in doing so. The Town of Braintree is an affirmative action/equal
