Description:

The Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation (SEEC) is seeking Request for Qualifications from licensed Environmental Professionals to provide services in conjunction with the recently awarded NY Forward program. NY certified Minority and Women-Owned businessesare strongly encouraged to respond.

Services to be Provided/Scope of Services:

Projects funded under the program must be free of hazardous materials which could affect the health and safety of occupants or conflict with the intended utilization of the property.

Hazardous Building Materials:
•Asbestos assessment may include ACP5 forms to planning and abatement, as needed.Reference NYS Department of Labor at 12 NYCRR Part 56.
•Lead inspection, detection, removal and testing by licensed professionals when activitiesimpact dwelling units or child occupied facility which must be free from hazards posed bylead-based paint.
•Mold inspection, sampling and testing the air for safety with mold removal/remediation, asneeded.
•Harmful Gas testing for levels of vapors and gases such as radon and formaldehyde.
