Mehlville Messenger Newsletter Printing and Mailing

The Mehlville School District is soliciting proposals to provide newsletter printing and mailing services for two years – the 2025-2026 school year and the 2026-2027 school year. Each quarter during the school year (four times per year, late June, September, December, March), the Mehlville School District will mail an informational newsletter to approximately 46,000 households and businesses in the area. A copy of the most recent newsletters can be found on the district’s website under the Communications Department .

The selected vendor will assist the Mehlville School District by providing the following services:

Printing:
The selected vendor will print the required number of copies for each newsletter, with drafts provided in PDF, digital color proof. For purposes of this RFP, assume a unit count of 46,300 for each printing (four times per year) of the newsletter.

• Paper and printing specifications as follows:
• Page size = 10” X 11” (Dimensions are approximate and depend on vendor capabilities)
• 12 pages
• Four color
• Paper = 50# white offset TEXT
• Folded to 10” X 5 ½” for mailing (Dimensions are approximate and depend on vendor capabilities)
• Skid packed for mailer

Please provide samples with your bid submission of the paper you will use.

Mailing:
The selected vendor will ensure the newsletters are properly prepared for mailing and mailed in accordance with the deadlines established by the Mehlville School District. The vendor will be responsible for obtaining a mailing list from the Communications Department. Single-family homes and apartment residents and businesses within the district will receive newsletters, with mailing areas corresponding to district boundaries . Vendor will be in charge of mailing list

certification, tabbing, addressing and routing to USPS.

Does your quote include delivery of excess newsletters to the Mehlville School District after mailing? If not, what is the cost?
