RFP # 2284-01 BHA Raised Bed and Garden Program for Elderly/Disabled Public Housing Communities
The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking proposals (Proposal or Proposals) from qualified partners (Proposers) to build and install raised beds and/or provide gardening education at the following BHA sites: Commonwealth, Lower Mills, Hassan Apartments, and other suitable sites. BHA reserves the right to add additional sites to this project. A total of $100,000 is available. Proposers responding to this RFP are required to submit one (1) original and shall provide one (1) electronic copy of the non-fee portion of their proposal on CD-R or DVD-R media, or USB flash stick to: BHA Contract Office, Ben Liang, Director of Procurement Department,Boston Housing Authority, 56 Chauncy Street (Housing Service Center), Boston, MA 02111, on or before Monday, January 13, 2025, no later than 2:00 p.m., by mail or hand delivery. Requests for clarifications, interpretations, explanations, corrections, modifications, and/or questions, comments, and all other communications regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to

no later than 2:00 PM on 12/27/2024 and will be accepted and processed by BHA solely in accordance with the terms of this provision. Any and all responses to Inquiries received by the BHA by or before the RFP Question Submission Deadline will be issued in the form of an addendum to this RFP to all persons and entities on record as having obtained a copy of this RFP from the BHA if the BHA, in its sole discretion, determines that the inquiries and request for modification require a substantive response and prejudicial to fair competition. The BHA reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive any informalities if it be in the public interest to do so.
