Description:

School of Law of the City University of New York intends to purchase of a variety of law-related electronic subscription of Bloomberg BNA (Bureau of National Affairs) Premier Package online subscription platform and print titles listed below.

  • Unique law –related online database/News services
  • Labor & Employment Law Practice Center
  • Health Law Practice Center
  • Privacy & Data Security Practice Center
  • BNA Newsletters
  • Bloomberg Law
  • Employment Discrimination Law
  • Fair Labor Standards Act
  • How Arbitration Works
  • Family and Medical Leave Act.

Vendor Requirement: To be considered for award, the prospective vendors must be authorized to sell or resell BNA Online subscriptions and print titles to public educational institutions.

Vendors are invited to submit a statement of interest that includes the following information no later than the date set forth below:

  • Documentation verifying that your company can meet the minimum product/subscription requirement, and
  • A letter from Bloomberg BNA authorizing your company to sell/resell the subscription to public educational institutions.

Any purchase that results from this advertisement shall be governed by the University's standard Terms and Conditions, Purchase Order, and the Standard Clauses for New York State Contracts (Appendix A).

Under the requirements of the Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA), all communications regarding advertised projects are to be channeled through the Designated Contact. Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others than the Designated Contact may constitute an “impermissible contact” under NYS law and could result in disqualification of that vendor.

Compliance with the PLA:

Required Forms: Vendor shall complete, sign and submit the following forms if they are selected.

  1. “Offerer’s Affirmation of Understanding of and Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j(3) and §139-j(6)(b)”
  2. “Offerer’s Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k”
