The City of Greenville is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified planning and design consultants and/or similar professionally qualified consultants to provide community engagement and conceptual design services for the rebuild of the West Greenville Community Center and associated site improvements, which is owned by the City of Greenville. It is expected this project will be completed in phases; if approved and funding allows, Phase II shall include advancement of the design to allow for the construction of the new facility.
Planning services should include an analysis of components that will impact the project, including site planning and design, utility infrastructure, geotechnical analysis, stormwater management, facility design and construction methodology, parking, traffic circulation, and overall feasibility of a new recreation facility. Cost estimating shall also be part of the design process.
A feasibility study for this center was completed by CPL Architecture and MEP Engineering in October 2023; that report shall be used for reference only and can be found on the City’s bid page.
