The City of Bismarck is seeking proposals for the hauling and disposal of all lime product from or generated by the Bismarck Water Treatment Plant for the 2025 calendar year, with the possibility of to two additional one-year terms (3 years total). Sealed proposals for hauling and disposal of lime product will be received in the office of the City Administrator, until 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Proposals will be publicly opened and reviewed at 4:00 p.m. CST, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Mayor’s Conference Room (4th Floor), 221 N 5th Street, Bismarck.
The proposals must be mailed to the City Administrator (PO Box 5503, Bismarck ND 58506-5503) or otherwise deposited with the City Administrator (221 North 5th Street, Bismarck ND 58501) and shall be sealed and endorsed “Proposal for Lime Product Hauling and Disposal” -- Name of the person, firm or corporation submitting the proposal. If a proposal is to be faxed, it must be sent to the contractor’s agent independent of the City of Bismarck, placed in a sealed envelope, labeled according to this specification, and delivered to the office of the City Administrator prior to the proposal deadline.
Proposals must be submitted on blanks furnished by the City of Bismarck and in accordance with specifications and conditions therein contained. Blank copies of the proposal and specifications may be downloaded from the City of Bismarck website at

The right is reserved to hold all proposals for a period of forty-five (45) days, to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interest of the City of Bismarck.
