NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about Wednesday, 5 February 2025 for diagnostics and maintenance on two (2) Bauer Unicus III and two (2) Bauer Open Horizontal Air Compressor systems in support of Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NSEOD) Niceville, FL. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The RFQ will result in the award of a firm-fixed priced purchase order and will contain a period of performance that consists of a (1) one-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods.
The requirement is for routine diagnostics and maintenance on two (2) Bauer Unicus III and two (2) Bauer Open Horizontal Air Compressor systems to be completed in accordance with Bauer O&M manual MNL-0375 October 22, 2009. Monthly maintenance will include calibrating CO Monitor and checking for oil level, final pressure shutdown, and automatic condensate drain. Additional maintenance will be required bi-annually, annually, every 2 years, at 500 hours and 1000 hours of machine use. The maintenance must be completed by Bauer Certified Technicians.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811310 with a small business size standard of $12.5M.
The RFQ will be available on or about Wednesday, 5 February 2025 on Contract Opportunities via https://www.sam.gov. The RFQ will include instructions for preparation of price quotes, the PWS, and evaluation criteria. It is the responsibility of interested parties to use Contract Opportunities to download the synopsis, solicitation and subsequent amendments and any attachments. Offerors are encouraged to review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of the RFQ, attachments or amendments will be provided. No solicitation mailing list will be issued. System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov registration is mandatory and all offerors must be listed as a small business under NAICS Code 811310. ONLY email requests for clarification to the Contract Specialist are acceptable. No phone call communications or personal office visits with NAVSUP FLCJAX or its internal or external customers regarding issues or questions pertaining to this procurement will be accepted for the duration of the solicitation, evaluation and award process.
