Additional Information- For the comment "SEE 332 Conservation Measures for Dune Walkover Construction #1 and #3" Civil Enginerring has provided this additional information:
Walkovers/Boardwalks. Dune walkovers shall be constructed at a height (minimum three feet above grade – higher if habitat has been impacted from storms) to accommodate natural dune growth and associated vegetation.
Ammendment 3- The purpose of the amendment is to extend the proposal due date from 8 August 2024 at 2:00 PM CST to 15 August 2024 and 2:00 PM CST, and add the Pre-Bid Walk Contractor questions and answer for contractor review.
Amendment 2- The purpose of this amendment is to add the AsBuilt Drawings and the 813.
Amendment 1- The purpose of this amendment is to revise Sections L and M as it refers to the definition of relevant work for Past Experience.
The purpose of the Tyndall Air Force Base (TAFB) project XLWU 25-4009 Extend the Tyndall NCO Beach Boardwalk by 600 feet to reduce negative impacts to the dune and surrounding environment caused by personnel accessing the beaches of Tyndall AFB. New construction will match existing boardwalk design, is to Design and Build to extend existing Boardwalk and its supporting facilities in full compliance with current building codes, including the DoD Building Code, and the portion of the Florida Building Code that contains the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) provisions. The service road is to remain open during the construction of the extension of the boardwalk.
