Statement of Work
Purchasing 2 Air-Cooled Chillers for B 78 CLC
528A6-25-612
Scope:
The selected Contractor is to supply two 60-ton, air-cooled, scroll-type chillers for Building 78 (CLC) and two chilled water pumps to replace the existing equipment. Installation work will be performed in-house by VA Shop personnel at the designated job site. The project site is located at the Veterans Affairs Medical Facility in Bath, NY. The provided equipment must meet the specified capacity requirements outlined in the project specification package. The Contractor is responsible for delivering the specified units to the Bath VA Medical Center at 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810. VA trades personnel will handle unloading, positioning, and connecting the units to the existing system. The Contractor shall then perform testing, commissioning, and setup of the units in accordance with the manufacturer s recommendations and the project specifications, including programming the units into the existing Building Automation System.
Contractor Responsibilities:
Contractor must Furnish TWO nominal 60 Ton Air- Cooled Scroll Chillers. Basis of Design Trane CGAM series.
Contractor must furnish TWO chilled water pumps. Basis of design B&G e-1510 Base Mounted Pump Series, 2AD 2HP 230/460 1800RPM, the size must be at 132 gpm flow rate and 35 Ft H2o Head loss.
Contractor to perform start up must ensure operations and proper integration to existing Trane Tracer Ensemble building management system.
Vender must ensure Unit is fully compatible, able to integrate without workarounds and 100% back-net compliant to communicate with Trane Tracer Ensemble building management system.
The contractor must deliver the equipment no later than December 31st, 2025.
Contractor must follow all the federal regulations and the national and local safety codes while performing any work on the VA property.
The Contractor shall coordinate with the COR and the VA utility shops; all the onsite work required for this job to be completed.
Work is required to be during workdays normal hours 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, any need to perform any work before or after regular hours or during weekends and holidays, will need to be coordinated in advance with the VA COR.
