2024-01 Demolition Project
Sealed bids for the work comprising the improvement as stated below must be filed before 10:00 am local time on November 8th, 2024; in the office of the City of Newton Community Services Director, 303 W 4th St N, Suite 501, Newton, IA.
Sealed proposals will be opened and bids tabulated at 10:00 am local time on November 8, 2024, in the Community Services Office, 303 W 4th St N, Suite 501, Newton, IA, for consideration by the Newton City Council at its meeting on November 18th, 2024; at the Newton City Council Chambers. The City of Newton reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
General Nature of Project:
Demolition Project 2024-01
Project consists of asbestos abatement, lead paint abatement, demolition work and seeding, fertilizing and mulching at 1015 N 3rd Ave E; all in Newton, Iowa.
The work shall commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, and shall be completed on or before April 1st, 2025.
