Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only.

Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response.

1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for Medal of Honor Alarm Relocation.

The 377th MSG/PKA at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing a performance-based, non-personal service to install an alarm security system to protect a Medal of Honor at the 351st Special Warfare Training Squadron (SWTS) facility on Kirtland AFB, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The objective of this effort is to provide enhanced security for a Medal of Honor display within the 351st SWTS. The required service includes the installation of an alarm security system that integrates seamlessly with Kirtland AFB’s existing Intrusion Detection System (IDS). The system must utilize a Balance Magnetic Switch (BMS) alarm, which will be integrated with the existing Medal of Honor display case. The contractor must be a Government Value-Added Reseller (VAR) approved to provide security system services to the U.S. Government.

377 MSG/PKA anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 238210, size standard $19.0M.

2. INSTRUCTIONS: All businesses capable of providing security alarm wiring installation for existing Intrusion Detection Systems in accordance with the PWS and listed as approved government VARs are invited to respond electronically. The installed system must utilize Balance Magnetic Switch (BMS) alarms.

Responses shall include company name, address, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (small business, small-disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 238210, size standard $19.0M. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision.

Statement of Capabilities are limited to 3 pages, using Times New Roman 12 Font, and must demonstrate the ability to provide security alarm wiring installation for existing Intrusion Detection Systems. Respondents must also be on the list of approved government VARs. Do NOT include any marketing material in the capabilities statement.

Responses must be received no later than 2:00PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT), Thursday, July 17, 2025, and addressed to Contract Specialist, Claudia Perry at claudia.perry.2@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer, Monique McLaughlin at monique.mclaughlin.2@us.af.mil.
