N6449825R3023- Steam and Auxiliary Control Systems Support

Notice of Intent to Consolidate Determination & Findings (D&F) for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Steam and Auxiliary (Aux) Controls Engineering Services. In accordance with FAR 7.107-5(c), this posting notification of NSWCPD's intent to consolidate the following contract requirements for NSWCPD's enginering and technical services, N6449825R3023, acquisition:

• Fluid Systems Automation Seaport Task Order No. N6449820F3004


• Technical and ISEA Support Services Task Order No. N6449822F3172


• Propulsion and Auxiliary Control System (PACS) and Ballast System Engineering Support Task Order No. N6449822F3176

The Steam and Aux Support requirement is considered a proposed consolidated contract action with justifiable benefits. As such, consolidation is necessary and justified because of the following quantitative mission improvement benefits summarized below:

• Quality and Schedule Improvements


• Reduction in Workforce Requirement


• Reduction in Acquisition Cycle Time


• Projected Cost Savings
