Bids for construction of OAKRIDGE DRIVE TANK Project # 21-203 will be received by Centerville City at the Centerville Public Works Building, 655 North 1250 West, Centerville, Utah 84014, until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, 5 November 2024; and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.  The Bidder shall indicate the Construction Contract title, the name and address of the Bidder, and the date and time of the Bid opening. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Centerville City Public Works at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, 15 October 2024. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, tools, backfill materials, construction materials, equipment transportation and services required for the construction of the above, described project as included in the Contract Documents; consisting of the following items of work:   construction of proposed items; all in accordance with Centerville City Standard specifications and details, also the Drawings and Specifications prepared by ESI Engineering, INC.

This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis Bacon Act (DBA) wages and compliance with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program requirements including the “6 Good Faith Efforts”. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements to be aware of; EPA’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, Davis Bacon Act (DBA), Build America, Buy America (BABA), American Iron and Steel (AIS), and Construction Quality Assurance Plan.

The Engineer Estimate of Cost for the total project is: $ 2,000,000.00

Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier=s Check in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid price, drawn payable to the order of Centerville City.  Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder.

All Bids submitted shall be in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders which are included in the Contract Documents; and shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Bid opening.

The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented or to waive any informality in a bid and to make award or refuse to make award in the best interest of the Owner.
