New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking multiple Consultants to provide on-call maritime engineering consultant services. The selected consultants will provide site investigation and inspection (including but not limited to surveys, underwater, subsurface and other types of inspections, environmental and other types of studies, soil borings, surveys and various engineering studies), analysis, design and project management services at various waterfront properties located throughout the City.
The properties are either owned, managed and/or leased by the City, by an agency of the City or by NYCEDC. The number and location of such properties may be updated from time to time by the Corporation to include new properties or to exclude previously designated properties.
NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, and the proposed fee.
Informational SessionAn optional informational session will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 2P.M. at NYCEDC (One Liberty St, New York, NY 10006, 14th floor) and virtually. InquiriesRespondents may submit questions and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC no later than 5pm on Friday, November 14, 2025. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP should be directed to OncallMaritime2026@edc.nyc . Answers to all questions will be posted by Friday, November 21, 2025. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP will not be accepted after 5pm on Friday, November 14, 2025, however, technical questions pertaining to downloading and submitting proposals to this RFP may be directed to RFPREQUEST@edc.nyc on or before Monday, December 8, 2025.
