Notice of Intent to Sole Source Translational Omics – statistical analysis, bioinformatics, data curation and annotation

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:

IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that The Department of Veterans Affairs RPO-E R&D, intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Booz Allen Hamilton for services to support the Million Veteran Program titled: Translational Omics – statistical analysis, bioinformatics, data curation and annotation. Services are to generate, store and analyze large amount of clinical and multi-omics data derived from the samples and data. The services will also provide technical solutions to ensure data is efficiently cleaned, curated, prepared, managed and used for analysis so that the Veterans receive the benefit of the latest technology and research to best meet their health care needs.

Per FAR 5.201 this notice is provided. The performance work statement (PWS) is provided to support this posting.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS or QUOTATIONS.

Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work IAW the PWS.

Capability information is required by 10AM July 21, 2025 (Eastern) to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
