Sealed bids will be received by Thornbury Township, Delaware County via the PennBID Program (pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 o'clock AM, prevailing time, on the 14th day
of August 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly read for the:
THORNTON ROAD LOW PRESSURE SEWER - PHASE 2 CONTRACT NO. 2025-03
All documents and solicitations are available anytime at no cost at PennBID (pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
The project involves the extension of a 3-inch Low Pressure force main/laterals within the right-of-way of Thornton and Glen Mills Roads, and installation of approximately 650-feet of 1-1/4-inch lateral.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
