Robesonia-Wernersville Municipal Authority is soliciting sealed bids online via the PennBid program for Contract 25-1 Liquid Sludge Hauling and Disposal Services. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost from PennBid™ at www.PennBid.net for:
CONTRACT 25-1 LIQUID SLUDGE HAULING AND DISPOSAL SERVICES FOR THE ROBESONIA-WERNERSVILLE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
Contract No. 25-1 is for the hauling and disposal of approximately 135,517 gallons per month of sludge from the Robesonia – Wernersville Municipal Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Robesonia – Wernersville Municipal Authority Treatment Plant is located at 3885 North Church Street, Wernersville, PA 19565 and is owned and operated by the Robesonia – Wernersville Municipal Authority (RWMA). The RWMA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to make award to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder who, in the judgment of the RMWA makes the most advantageous bid. Bids are invited from qualified bidders.
A pre-bid meeting will not be held however all perspective bidders are encouraged to schedule a visit to the treatment plant during normal business hours by contacting the Authority Plant Superintendent at (610) 678-5115. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until Thursday August 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of the Robesonia – Wernersville Municipal Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Robesonia – Wernersville Municipal Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The RMWA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to make award to such bidder who, in the judgment of the RMWA makes the most advantageous bid. Bids are invited from qualified bidders.
Prevailing State Wage Rates will not apply.
No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.
