Project Description: The Monroe County Transportation Authority (“MCTA”) is seeking a qualified managed service provider who can meet the organization’s needs for support in the area of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, software systems and services. This Request for Proposals (RFP) provides interested parties sufficient information to prepare and submit proposals for consideration.
MCTA strongly encourages interested firms to partner and assemble a team that has exceptional qualifications in the following areas:
• Network and server support
• Desktop support
• IT security including firewalls, network monitoring and data encryption
• IT disaster recovery including data backup
• Cloud based technologies
• Project management
• Document preparation and maintenance
Throughout this RFP the term “Contractor” is used to designate the bidder and the term “Subcontractor” or “Subcontractors” is used to designate a partner or partners the bidder is proposing to use on the project.
