Bids will be accepted electronically until 11 AM, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 via PennBid only.
Bidding Documents and solicitation details are available online, without charge, at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Questions will be accepted until 5 PM, Wednesday, August 20, 2025. All questions must be submitted in writing through PennBid.
All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids.
Bids results will be opened at 11 AM on August 27, 2025. The results will subsequently be posted to PennBid.
All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2020, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if Bidder subsequently undertakes the partial or total construction of one or more items of work.
This project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
All Bidders and Subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified. The Township has determined that this work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act ( 43 P. S. §§ 165-1 - 165-17 ) and the Contractor shall pay at least the wage rates as determined in the decision of the Secretary of Labor and Industry and shall comply with the conditions of the act approved August 15, 1961, and the regulations issued thereto, to assure the full and proper payment of the rates, except as amended by the Contract documents.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this project is to replace the superstructure of the bridge on Dairy Road (T-341) over Little Conestoga Creek Tributary. Minor roadway improvements for both approaches are included because of the deck elevation changes
