This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) announcement only. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is conducting market research to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing solutions to meet the Automated Biosequence Search System (ABSS) requirement. The Government may use the response to this SSN for informational and planning purposes.
The USPTO is seeking companies that have the capability to deliver a commercial enterprise software product for ABSS as well as support services (but not limited to) for license maintenance, installation, applicable trainings, and premier operation and support to the end users, the Patent Examining Corps. The USPTO is also looking to migrate the ABSS solution from on-premise to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. The vendor is not expected to procure the cloud solution as USPTO will provide the cloud system.
The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice in writing including details of your company’s ability to deliver Automated Biosequence Search System (ABSS). Additionally, please provide the following information:
1) Company Name and Address

3) Company Business Size by NAICS code
4) Small Business Type(s), if applicable
5) Points of Contact for questions and/or clarifications
6) Telephone number and email address

9) FedRAMP Authorization to Operate (ATO) status (if applicable)
10) Provide any recommendations and/or concerns
Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought.
Responses to this Sources Sought should not exceed five (5) pages in length.
