REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND QUOTES (RFI/RFQ) 2027-11SD BUS STOP ARM

School Bus Stop Arm Monitoring and Pilot Program

The City of Holyoke, in partnership with the Holyoke Police Department, Holyoke School Department, Durham School Services and Van Pool Transportation/Beacon Mobility, is seeking information and quotes from qualified vendors who provide School Bus Stop Arm Monitoring and Ticketing Systems.

The City intends to review existing contract and procurement options from multiple providers, with the goal of selecting the best fit for Holyoke in terms of technology, cost, and operational support. Approximately 47 buses, 20 big buses and 27 mini buses currently operate within the City of Holyoke. We are considering a six (6) month pilot program prior to full implementation and award of a longer-term contract.  Award of longer-term contract is contingent upon success of pilot program as determined by the City of Holyoke, in partnership with the Holyoke Police Department, Holyoke School Department, Durham School Services and Van Pool Transportation/Beacon Mobility.
