Description
The Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis County Board of Tourism is seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide restoration services to historic homes and buildings. The Big House of Jeff Davis County is a mansion built in 1913 on U.S. Hwy 341. The home features four large columns in the front of the building that are showing signs of rot and decay. Additionally, the soffit above the columns is in poor shape. This project is part of our larger preservation effort for the building.
Sealed proposals will be accepted in person at The Big House (25 E. Coffee St., Hazlehurst, GA 31539), mailed through USPS to 25 E. Coffee Street, Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539, or mailed directly to The Big House through another postal carrier. Only sealed proposals will be accepted. The Board of Tourism will reject and destroy open proposals.
