The FAA has a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Type Award requirement for five (5) years for Data Acquisition System (DAS) components, sensors, and spare parts calibration, repair, maintenance, modification and training services for Government equipment, and all related transportation/shipping and handling to support the entire range of instrumentation used to conduct AAM-630’s research. The FAA intends to Single Source this effort to Diversified Technical Systems (DTS) Incorporated, 1720 Apollo Court, Seal Beach CA 90740. DTS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and they own all Proprietary Data.
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.2, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures.
