ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the THROOP 2026 PAVING PROJECT will be received online via the PennBid Program, by THROOP BOROUGH, until 11:00 AM local time on MAY 15, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened electronically and shortly after which, bid tabulation results will be publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of asphalt milling, asphalt base repairs, asphalt wearing course overlay, asphalt curb, traffic control during construction and other related work.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA PREVAILING WAGE RATES
